IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician Course

This two-day course teaches students the art of fire and smoke damage restoration of buildings and contents.

Over a course of lectures, discussions and workbook exercises students will cover scoping, mitigation, cleaning, deodorisation and odour control, subrogation, spoliation and the documentation of residential and commercial fire and smoke damaged structures and contents.

At the end of the course there is an optional IICRC examination to gain the Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician certification (FSRT) an internationally recognised qualification. The examination consists of 160 multiple-choice questions and is a closed-book exam. Upon completing this certification, students demonstrate that they are prepared to perform and document cleaning and deodorisation of typical residential or commercial fire and smoke damaged projects.

The course syllabus is compliant with UK health and safety regulations, trade associations and standards.

Course timings: 2 days 9am-5.30pm each day
